Density in Exponential Atmosphere Calculator

How This Is Calculated

$$ \rho = \rho_0 e^{- \frac{h}{h_s}} $$ where:

ρ   =   Density of air at specified height   (kg/m³)

ρ0   =   Reference density   (kg/m³)

h   =   Altidude above sea level   (m)

hs   =   Scale height   (m)

Assumptions

  • The atmosphere is isothermal.
  • Fluid behaves as an ideal gas.
  • No turbulence or mixing.
  • Scale height remains uniform.
