$$ L_{10} = \left(\frac{C}{P}\right)^{\frac{10}{3}} \cdot 10^6 $$ where:

L10   =   Life expectancy   (revolutions)

C   =   Dyanmic load rating   (N)

P   =   Equivilant load   (N)


Assumptions



  • There are no energy losses.
  • The loading is constant over the bearings lifespan.
  • The load distribution is uniform.
  • The effects of lubrication are ignored.
