Basic Life Rating for Ball Bearings Calculator

How This Is Calculated

$$ L_{10} = \left(\frac{C}{F}\right)^3 \cdot 10^6 $$ where:

L10   =   Basic bearing life   (revolutions)

C   =   Basic dyanmic load rating   (N)

F   =   Equivilant dynamic load   (N)

Assumptions

  • There are no energy losses.
  • The loading is constant over the bearings lifespan.
  • The load distribution is uniform.
  • The effects of lubrication are ignored.
